Handicraft catalogue website · Case study
BidriCraft.
Bidri craft is a distinctive traditional art from Bidar. The website’s purpose is to let visitors discover the maker’s work and explore the variety of objects without turning the experience into an unnecessarily complex store.
01 / Context
The challenge
The artisan needed an online presence that could present products beyond the local market. Jewellery, vases, boxes and table crafts each benefit from a clear visual grouping, while interested visitors need an easy way to make direct contact.
02 / Work
The approach
I built a lightweight responsive site with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap. Product sections and a gallery act as a digital catalogue, supported by business and contact information. The static structure keeps the experience direct and straightforward to browse.
03 / Delivery
What the project delivered
BidriCraft has an online showcase for the craft and its product categories. The site supports discovery and direct enquiries; it is described as a catalogue, not as an online checkout or eCommerce platform.
